Dustin Johnson withdraws from Masters

Dustin Johnson pulled out of the Masters on Tuesday because of a back injury.

He posted on Twitter: ``You have no idea how much I wanted to walk the fairways at Augusta and fulfill what I’ve been practicing for!! I’ll have to root my buddies!”

Johnson's best finish in three Masters starts was a tie for 30th in his 2009 debut. He posted three straight top-10s before withdrawing from the Humana Challenge because of back pain. The Masters field is now 96 players.
